BAKED MACARONI AND SAUSAGE 
1 lb. Italian sweet sausage
1 green pepper, chopped
1 onion, chopped
1 (28 oz.) can crushed tomatoes
1 (6 oz.) can tomato paste
1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
2 c. water
1 lb. macaroni twists
12 oz. shredded Mozzarella cheese
1/2 c. grated Parmesan cheese

Remove sausage from casings and crumble. In large, deep skillet or Dutch oven, fry sausage until crumbly. Add green pepper and onion and saute 5 minutes. Do not drain. Stir in tomatoes, paste, sauce and water. Simmer, stirring occasionally for 10 minutes. Remove from heat. Cook macaroni according to package directions. Drain. Cover bottom of 9"x13"x2" baking pan with sauce. Layer macaroni and Mozzarella, ending with macaroni. Pour remaining sauce over. Sprinkle Parmesan cheese over top. Bake in preheated 400 degree oven for 25 to 30 minutes or until bubbly and brown.

Serve with salad and Italian bread.
