OATMEAL ROLLS 
1/2 c. butter
1 c. oatmeal
2/3 c. brown sugar
3/4 tsp. salt
1 1/2 c. boiling water
1 pkg. yeast
4 c. flour
1 egg

Cover butter, oatmeal, sugar and salt with boiling water in large mixing bowl. Beat well and let stand until lukewarm. Add yeast and mix well. Add egg and 2 cups flour; mix well. Then add other 2 cups flour to form soft dough. Place in greased bowl and let rise until double (1 1/2 hours). Punch down and shape into rolls and let rise until double. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Fills a 9 x 13 inch pan.
