BEST STEAK YOU EVER HAD! | |
1 London broil steak 1 (15 oz.) bottle zesty robusto Italian dressing (any brand) 1 (or more) garlic cloves, chopped salt and pepper, to taste 1 baking pan 1 piece of foil (for covering) Preheat oven to 450°F. 2. Tenderize the steak (I use meat tenderizer hammer). Place the steak into the pan and insert pieces of garlic into the steak, spread out evenly (as much as needed, the more garlic you like the more you add). Season both sides of the steak with salt and pepper. Pour the ENTIRE bottle of Italian dressing onto the steak and the surrounding pan. Cover pan with foil. Place in oven, middle rack and lower temperature to 350°F. Keep on this temperature for at least 2 hours (for best results set oven to 250°F and cook slower for 3 hours). Every 45 minutes flip the steak over (prevents the top of the steak from drying out). When everything is complete, you will see that the steak just falls apart. It is best served with mashed potatoes and your favorite vegetable side dish. It tastes like you put a lot of hard work into it and but its very simple and CHEAP!!! Submitted by: Heather Carroll |
