1 piece of flank steak (tenderized once), then split lengthwise
1/2 c. or less of sugar
1/2 c. soy sauce
Salt and pepper to taste
2 stalks or more chopped green onions
1 clove garlic, minced
1 egg, well beaten

Marinate steak, soy sauce, sugar, and garlic for 30 minutes. Coat with flour and dip into egg and chopped onion mixture. Fry in hot oil. (I brown in oil and then bake in the oven at 350 degrees for about 10-15 minutes). Let it cool completely before slicing thinly at an angle. Steak can be served warm or cold.
