FRUIT PLATTER PIZZA PIE | |
1 1/2 stick butter 1 1/2 c. flour 3 tbsp. powdered sugar Kiwi, blueberries, strawberries, melons, peaches, grapes, etc. 1-2 tbsp. sugar Mix first 3 ingredients; work with hands. Pat into a pizza pan. Bake at 400 degrees for 10 minutes. Cover with thinly sliced fruits. Sprinkle with sugar. Top with Orange Sauce: 1/4 tsp. salt 2 tbsp. cornstarch 1 c. orange juice 1/4 c. "real" lemon juice, undiluted 3/4 c. water 1/2 each grated orange and lemon peel Combine sugar, salt, and cornstarch; stir in orange and lemon juice and water. Cook over medium heat; stirring constantly until boiling. Boil 1 minute. Remove from heat. Stir in grated peel. Let cool and drizzle over fruit. Makes enough sauce for 2-3 fruit pies. |
