OATMEAL - CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES 
3/4 c. flour
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 c. butter
3/4 c. brown or granulated sugar
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. rolled oats
1 (6 oz.) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate morsels

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In mixing bowl, combine flour, baking soda and cinnamon, stirring to blend. In small saucepan over low heat, melt butter. Remove from heat and stir in sugar. Beat in egg and vanilla, then stir into dry ingredients, mixing well. Stir in oats, then chocolate morsels. Dough will be quite stiff.

Drop by rounded teaspoons about 2 inches apart on baking sheet. Bake 10-12 minutes or until browned. Cool on baking sheet. Makes about 48.
