ORANGE COCONUT CAKE 
1 c. butter
2 c. sugar
3 c. flour, sifted
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
4 eggs
1 c. milk
1 tsp. vanilla flavoring
1/2 tsp. almond flavoring

Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each. Sift flour, baking powder and salt together. Add to butter mixture alternately with milk and flavoring which have been combined. Pour into 3 greased and floured cake pans. Bake at 350 degrees for 25-30 minutes. Cool 10 minutes. Then turn out and cool.

ORANGE COCONUT FILLING:

2 pkg. frozen coconut, thawed
1 sm. can frozen orange juice, undiluted
1 c. milk
1/2 stick butter
Juice of 1 lemon
3 c. sugar

Combine all ingredients in boiler except coconut. Cook until mixture drops from spoon in about 3 thick drops, 15 or 20 minutes. Add coconut and bring to boil again. Punch holes in layers so filling will seep in. Put a little on top of each layer and remainder all over top and sides of cake.
