PEPPER STEAK 
1 1/2 lb. round steak
2 tbsp. oil
1 clove garlic, minced
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/4 c. soy sauce
1 tsp. sugar
1 c. canned bean sprouts, drained
1 can stewed tomatoes
2 green peppers
1 tbsp. cornstarch
2 tbsp. cold water
Onion

Cut meat into strips; brown in skillet with oil. Combine with garlic, salt, pepper, soy sauce and sugar in crock pot. Cook on low 6-8 hours. Turn control to high and add bean sprouts, tomatoes and green peppers.

Dissolve cornstarch in water and stir into pot. Cover and cook (on high) 15-20 minutes or until thickened. Sprinkle with onions if desired. Serve over rice.
