ONION PIE 
4 lg. onions, chopped
2 tbsp. butter
3 eggs, slightly beaten
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. paprika
2 c. sweet milk
1 unbaked 9 inch pie shell

Saute onions in butter until transparent. Put into pie shell. Mix together eggs, salt, paprika, and milk. Pour this mixture over onions and bake at 375 degrees for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.

NOTE: This dish is delicious, hot or cold. Serves 6 as a main course; 8 as hors d'oeuvres. It is excellent as an accompaniment for meats, served as a side dish or extra vegetable with dinner menu.
