POT ROAST AND DUMPLINGS 
1 pot roast
1 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1 egg
Milk to moisten

Brown roast on both sides. Salt and pepper. Simmer in tightly covered pan for several hours.

Mix flour, baking powder, salt, and egg and moisten with milk. Stir well. Drop by teaspoonful into the meat. Cook 20 minutes with lid on. Don't peek.
