COPYCAT BIG BOY SAUCE | |
I've tried a lot of copycat recipes for the classic creamy Big Boy Sauce, and this one tastes nearly identical in my opinion. I was thrilled to have discovered it since they closed our local Big Boy restaurant some time ago, and the ones left in our state are quite a distance away. Try it on fish sandwiches or as a dip for your fries, too! 1 cup mayonnaise 4 tbsp. dill pickle relish, well-drained 2 tsp. fresh lemon juice 1/8 tsp. onion powder dash of paprika pinch of garlic powder Combine all ingredients in a bowl and mix well. Cover and place in refrigerator for 2-3 hours or until well-chilled. Stir again before using. Store leftovers, covered, in the refrigerator for up to a week. Note: You can substitute minced dill pickles for the pickle relish if desired. Submitted by: Carol |
