1 premade pizza crust
9 oz. Frisch's tartar sauce (from 16 oz. jar -- have found at Walmart and Target, though a copycat recipe or other brand of tartar sauce can also be used)
1/2 lb. lean ground beef
salt and pepper, to taste
1/2 cup shredded deli-style American cheese or Cheddar cheese
shredded Iceberg lettuce

Brown beef in a skillet, seasoning with salt and pepper. Drain if necessary.

Meanwhile, bake crust according to package directions until slightly browned, but not done.

Spread tartar sauce over crust. Evenly distribute the seasoned beef; cover with shredded cheese. Bake 5 minutes longer or until cheese is melted.

Remove pizza from oven and top with the shredded lettuce.
