THE BETTER WORLD'S BEST MACARONI
SALAD
 
This recipe never is the same. I love all types of vegetables and usually grab what I have on hand. You can add olives or mushrooms or add meat to make it a meal. Chicken, turkey or even roast beef chopped up.

SALAD:

1 (12 oz.) pkg. pasta (your choice; shells, elbow, rotini), cooked, drained and cooled
1 bunch green onions, sliced
1 bunch radishes, chopped
1 cup frozen baby peas, thawed
1/2 green bell pepper, diced
1/2 red pepper, diced
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (add last)

Prepare pasta according to package directions. Prep vegetables and mix all ingredients except the cheese.

CREAMY DRESSING:

1 cup Miracle Whip
1 cup Hellmann's mayonnaise
1 tbsp. Mrs. Dash
salt and pepper, to taste
dill seed
your choice spices

In a medium size bowl mix Miracle Whip with mayonnaise.

Note: The combination of these two ingredients is what gives the pasta salad it's wonderful smooth creamy taste with just enough kick to it.

Add about a tablespoon of Mrs. Dash, salt and pepper to taste, dill seed and any other spices you find appealing.

Mix together and then mix with salad ingredients. Top with the shredded cheese and chill in refrigerator for several hours.
