3 c. bread crumbs, or Zwieback
4 tbsp. butter
4 tbsp. sugar
2 cans applesauce
1 c. raspberry jam
1/2 pt. heavy whipped cream

Melt butter in skillet; add bread crumbs and sugar. Mix until light brown. Place layer of crumbs in baking dish. Add alternate layers of applesauce and crumbs with raspberry jam in between. Top layer must be crust. Press well and bake at 350 degrees for 25-30 minutes, using round shallow greased baking dish. Serves 6. A favorite on holidays.
