TED'S HEARTY TURKEY MEATLOAF 
Great sliced for sandwiches the next day!

1 lb. ground turkey
1 egg, beaten
3/4 cup bread crumbs (or 1 cup bagged stuffing mix)
1/3 cup milk
1 small onion, chopped
1 clove garlic, minced
1/4 bell pepper (red or green)
1 celery rib, coarsely chopped
1 (4 oz.) can mushrooms, drained (optional)
3 tbsp. ketchup (Hunts)
salt and pepper, to taste
1/2 tsp. thyme or rosemary (whichever you prefer)

Note: If seasoned stuffing mix is used omit or use additional of the same herb in mix.

SAUCE/GLAZE:

2 tbsp. brown sugar
1/4 cup ketchup
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
1 tsp. dry mustard

Combine turkey, egg, bread crumbs and milk in a bowl. Add onion, garlic, peppers, celery, mushrooms (if desired), seasonings and ketchup. Mix well and pat into a lightly oiled or sprayed meatloaf (bread loaf) pan.

Combine sauce/glaze ingredients and pour over loaf. Bake at 325°F for 60 minutes.

Let cool 5 minutes before removing from pan. ENJOY!

Tip: If you choose to cook at a higher temperature add sauce/glaze during last 20 minutes.
