BLUEBERRY MUFFINS 
1/2 c. sugar
1/4 c. butter
1 egg
1 c. milk, can use buttermilk
1 c. berries
2 c. sifted flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt

Cream together butter and sugar. Add egg, well beaten. Add other ingredients making 3 additions of flour and 2 of milk. Stir in berries carefully. Bake in well greased muffin tins 20-25 minutes at 425 degrees. Makes 1 dozen.
