“SPICED HOLIDAY NUTS” IS IN:

SPICED HOLIDAY NUTS 
1/2 tsp. ground cumin
1/2 tsp. chili powder
1/2 tsp. curry powder
1/2 tsp. garlic salt
1/4 tsp. cayenne pepper
1/4 tsp. powdered ginger
1/4 tsp. ground cinnamon
2 tbsp. olive oil
2 cups almonds, pecans or mixed nuts

Preheat oven to 325°F.

Combine dry ingredients together. Set aside.

Heat olive oil in a non-stick skillet over low heat. Add spices and stir well. Simmer for 3 to 4 minutes. Place nuts in a bowl. Top with oil/spice mixture. Mix well.

Spread nuts on cookie sheet and bake for 15 minutes. Place in another bowl. Sprinkle with more garlic salt (optional).

Let rest for 2 hours. Store in an airtight jar.

I make these as Holiday gifts and they are always praised. Be sure to NOT heat in the olive oil for more than the allotted time. And keep at low heat. Otherwise, extremely easy!
