WHIP CREAM POUND CAKE 
1/2 lb. butter
3 c. sugar
6 eggs
3 c. sifted cake flour
1/2 pt. whipping cream
2 tsp. vanilla extract

Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs, one at a time, beating real good after each egg. Add flour and cream, alternating, beginning and ending with flour. Add vanilla. Pour into a well-greased tube pan. Place in a cold oven. Set oven at 300°F for 30 minutes. Then turn to 325°F for 45 minutes. Do not open oven during cooking. Cool slightly before removing from pan.
