WHIPPING CREAM POUND CAKE 
1 c. butter
3 c. sugar
6 eggs, slightly beaten
1/2 pint whipping cream
3 cups flour, sifted
1 teaspoon vanilla

Cream butter; add sugar 1/2 cup at a time; cream until fluffy. Add eggs one at a time. Add flour alternately with cream. Add vanilla. Pour batter into a greased and floured 10-inch tube pan. Place in cold oven. Set temperature at 350°F for 30 minutes. Reduce heat to 325°F and bake 1 hour or until done.
