CRUNCHY CARAMEL APPLE PIE 
9" unbaked pie shell
30 caramels
3 tbsp. water
5 lg. apples
3/4 c. flour
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
Dash nutmeg
1/4 c. sugar
1/3 c. butter
1/2 c. walnuts, chopped

Melt caramels with water in saucepan over low heat, stirring occasionally until melted. Peel and core apples. Slice half the apples into pie shell. Pour half the caramel sauce over apples. Repeat with remaining apples and sauce. Mix flour, spices and sugar in small bowl with butter until crumbly. Stir in nuts. Sprinkle over pie. Bake at 375 degrees for 45 minutes. Delicious!
