SWEET & SOUR ASPARAGUS SALAD 
1 lb. fresh asparagus
6 slices bacon
1/4 c. white vinegar
2 tsp. sugar
Dash of salt & pepper
2 tsp. green onion, finely chopped
2 hard cooked eggs, sliced

Cook asparagus about 8 minutes until just tender. Drain and cool. Cook bacon crisp, crumble and set aside. Add vinegar, sugar, salt and pepper and onion to bacon drippings. Add asparagus and heat through. On salad plate or bed of lettuce top with egg slices. Pour hot dressing over each salad. Sprinkle with bacon.
