3/4 c. firmly packed brown sugar
3/4 c. sugar
3/4 c. peanut butter chips (like chocolate chips)
1 1/2 c. flour, mixed with 1 tsp. baking soda and 1/4 tsp. salt

Layer ingredients into jar in order given. Press each layer firmly before adding the next ingredient.

Instructions for Baking:

1/2 c. (1 stick butter), very soft
1/2 c. creamy peanut butter
1 egg, slightly beaten
1 tsp. vanilla

Empty jar of cookie mix into a large mixing bowl. Thoroughly blend mix. Add peanut butter, egg and vanilla. Mix until completely blended. Shape into walnut-sized balls and place 2-inches apart on greased cookie sheet.

Bake at 350°F for 11 to 13 minutes until edges are lightly browned. Cool.

Makes 3 dozen cookies!
