CUCUMBERS AND SOUR CREAM 
1 lg. cucumber
1 sm. or med. onion (to taste)
1/2 c. sugar
1/4 c. vinegar
1/2 c. sour cream
1 tbsp. oil

Slice cucumbers thin, do not remove skin. Slice onions, layer onions and cucumbers. Sprinkle with salt. Cover. To remove burps put in refrigerator several days, stir, return to refrigerator for one more day. Remove from refrigerator, drain. Mix together sugar, vinegar, oil. Pour over chilled cucumbers and onions. Stir in sour cream. Serve.
