SMOKED PINEAPPLE POPPERS | |
A fun project for your outdoor smoker. fresh pineapple 10 fresh jalapenos softened cream cheese, or ? Cut pineapple lengthwise after clipping the top. Do not remove skin, remove core. Clip tops off jalapenos and remove seeds and membrane, stuff with soft cream cheese. Add a toothpick to the small end of jalapenos and stick them on the fruit side of the pineapple so they stand up straight (this will keep the cheese for running out). PLACE PINEAPPLE IN SMOKER AND SMOKE FOR 45 MINUTES AT 225°F, or until jalapenos change color from bright green to pale. Remove from smoker and stuff core of pineapple with a variety of fresh chopped fruit and serve. Submitted by: PizzaManRick |
