HARD TIMES BAKED PORK CHOPS | |
Shoulder pork chops - cut off fat, salt and pepper and brown in own fat (one chop per serving) 1 tbsp. raw rice, put over top of each chop 1 lg. onion, slice to cover each chop 1 tomato slice, on top of each onion Salt and pepper. Add water to cover bottom of pan. Put on very tight lid. Cook for 1 hour and bake at 350 degrees. Baste every 15 minutes. Can be made ahead and refrigerated before cooking. Then cook 1 hour and 15 minutes at 350 degrees. |
