GERMAN CHOCOLATE PIE 
3 lg. egg whites (beat until stiff)
3/4 c. sugar
22 Ritz crackers (finely crushed)
1 c. chopped pecans
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. vanilla

Beat egg whites until stiff. Beat in sugar. Stir in cracker crumbs, pecans, baking powder and vanilla. Pour in greased 9 inch pie pan and bake 30 minutes at 350 degrees. Cool.

Top with whipped cream or Cool Whip. Sprinkle with shaved German chocolate or pecans before serving.
