BANANA CAKE WITH CREAM CHEESE
FROSTING
 
2 c. flour
1 2/3 c. sugar
1 1/4 tsp. baking powder
1 1/4 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
2/3 c. butter
2/3 c. buttermilk
3 eggs
1 1/4 c. mashed ripe bananas

Cream butter, sugar and eggs. Mix dry ingredients together. Mix buttermilk with bananas Add alternately to butter mixture. Beat well. Bake at 350 degree in 13 x 9 x 2 inch pan, 40-50 minutes.

FROSTING:

8 oz. cream cheese
1/4 c. butter
1 tsp. vanilla
3 c. powdered sugar

Beat frosting ingredients together. Frost cake while it is still warm.
