RICE PUDDING 
1/2 c. raw rice
1 pt. half and half
1/2 c. sugar
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla
Raisins (opt.)

Boil rice until soft. Drain rice and return to stove. Add half and half. Simmer on low until mixture comes to a boil. Beat egg, sugar, vanilla in a bowl. Add egg mixture to rice. Let boil 1 to 2 additional minutes. Cool and refrigerate. When ready to serve, top with whipped topping and garnish as desired.
