GRANDMOTHER'S RICH & CREAMY RICE
PUDDING
 
6 c. Half-and-Half
2 c. heavy cream
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. raw long-grain rice
1/2 tsp. nutmeg

Mix all of the above ingredients in a casserole dish large enough to hold it all. Sprinkle top with nutmeg. Bake at 325 degrees for 3 to 4 hours. Top will be crusty and underneath it will be creamy. Let cool. Serves 8. (Thickens while cooling.)
