SLOW-COOKED ROAST WITH
VEGETABLES
 
1 (2-3 lb.) rump roast
2 tbsp. flour
1 sm. onion
Potatoes
Carrots
Celery
Salt & pepper

Salt and pepper roast, then rub entire roast with flour. Place in crock pot or slow cooker. Cook on low for 8 to 10 hours, basting occasionally with juice from the meat. Half way through cooking time add onion, potatoes, carrots and celery. (Add as many vegetables as you want.) Best to remove and slice just before serving.

Serves 4 to 6.
