CARROT CRISP 
1 1/2 c. thinly sliced carrots
1/2 c. water
2 tbsp. butter
1/4 c. powdered milk
1 tsp. sugar
Salt and pepper

Combine carrots, water, and sugar in saucepan; cook over medium heat 5 minutes; reduce heat to low; cook 15 minutes longer or until tender crisp; add butter, milk, salt and pepper; heat thoroughly and serve.
