CRISP POTATO SLICES | |
2/3 c. milk 1 tbsp. sugar 3 med. potatoes Oil for frying BISCUIT MIX: 1 c. flour 1 tsp. baking powder 1/2 tsp. salt 1 tbsp. shortening Add milk and sugar to biscuit mix and beat well. Peel potatoes, slice 1/8 inch thick. Dip slices in biscuit mixture and fry in hot deep oil at 350 degrees until golden brown and done. Drain on paper towels and salt. If mixture doesn't seem runny enough add a little more milk. |
