CINNAMON CRISPS 
1 1/2 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 c. shortening
3/4 c. sugar
Evaporated milk

Sift flour. Beat shortening and sugar until fluffy. Add baking powder, salt and cinnamon. Add 1/2 of the flour mixture, then evaporated milk, then remaining flour mixture.

Drop by teaspoon, roll into ball and roll in sugar. Place on greased baking sheets then flatten into 1/8 inch thick circles. Bake in 375 degree oven for 10 minutes or until light brown. Cool on wire racks. Makes 2 1/2 dozen.
