 Beverly Tuft (Texas) says:
Love that it's so easy, no creaming butter... But I always add half teaspoon of rum flavoring, it just adds another depth of flavor.

I always add a teaspoon of vanilla and chopped walnuts when I make it. My family is always asking me to make it when the bananas start to turn brown.

I can cook, but not a baker. This recipe worked great! My daughter in college wanted two to freeze, I also sometimes don't use nuts but break up a a large Hershey bar before baking, melts in so good. Family wants it all the great.
Thanks!

Love this recipe. Easy to make and tasty. I also add a 4th banana. And I don't add the sugar. Still pretty sweet without sugar. Use nuts sometimes.

 Tracy (New York) says:
This was a huge hit with my son, a banana bread connoisseur. I used 4 bananas, brown sugar instead of white, 1 tbsp. cinnamon and 1 tsp. Pure vanilla extract. I also sprinkled (covered) top with brown sugar before baking. This is the best I've ever made!

I made this recipe, very good and easy. I cut sugar down to 1/2 cup though. I also add chocolate chips, and bagged cranberries, gave 6 out for Christmas gifts for people at work, they loved!

I loved this banana bread. I added way less sugar... just 1/4 cup and a swirl of maple syrup. Was yummy! I only baked it for 50 minutes and found this was enough.
