4 c. sugar
4 c. water
3/4 c. freeze dried instant coffee
1 qt. vodka
1 vanilla bean

Bring sugar and water to a boil. Cool. Add instant coffee and vodka. Blend well in 1 gallon glass jar. Add vanilla bean. Cover tightly. Store in dark place for 3 weeks before serving.
