DOUBLE WALNUT RAISIN BREAD | |
2 c. coarsely chopped walnuts 1 c. whole wheat flour 3/4 c. all-purpose flour 2 c. raisins 1 tsp. baking soda 1 tsp. salt 1 egg 1 c. buttermilk 3 tbsp. salad oil Mix walnuts and flours together. Add raisins, baking soda, and salt. Mix egg, buttermilk, and oil; add to first mixture. Pack into greased bread pans and bake 45 minutes at 350 degrees. Cool in pans 10 minutes before removing. |
