1 pkg. strawberry cake mix
8 oz. pkg. cream cheese
1 egg, slightly beaten
1/4 c. butter, melted
1/2 c. nuts (optional)

Mix with an electric mixer. Drop by spoonfuls and flatten with a glass bottom dipped in sugar. Bake 12 to 15 minutes at 350 degrees. Makes 3 dozen.
