CRESCENT ROLL CHEESECAKE 
2 pkg. crescent rolls (tube)
2 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
1 egg
1 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1/4 c. sugar
1/4 c. chopped nuts (optional)

Place 1 package of crescent rolls flat in the bottom of a 9 x 13 inch pan. Mix cream cheese, egg yolk, 1 cup sugar and vanilla. Spread this over first layer in pan. Place 2nd package of crescent rolls over cheese.

Whip egg whites and spread over rolls. Sprinkle with 1/4 cup sugar and nuts. Bake in a 350 degree oven for 30-35 minutes.
