FRESH BLACKBERRY CAKE 
3 c. flour
2 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. nutmeg
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. cloves
3 slightly beaten eggs
1 c. melted butter
1 c. buttermilk
1 1/2 c. blackberries
1 tbsp. baking soda
1/2 c. pecans
1/2 c. raisins

Combine first 6 ingredients in large bowl, then add beaten eggs, butter, butter and blackberries.

Beat 1 minute on medium speed then stir in soda, pecans and raisins. Spoon batter into greased and floured tube pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 55 minutes. This cake may be glazed.
