8 slices white bread with crust cut off 10 eggs 2 1/2 c. milk 2 tsp. prepared mustard 1 tsp. salt 1/2 lb. sharp cheese 1 lb. sausage or 2 c. cubed ham Tear bread into 4 or 5 pieces per slice and lay in bottom of 9 x 13 inch pan. Add shredded cheese on top of bread. Brown sausage until crumbly, add to top of cheese. Blend remaining ingredients. Pour over bread, cheese and meat. Cover, place in refrigerator overnight. Next morning bake at 300 degrees for 1 hour. Serve with a little fruit and rolls, then listen to the raves. |
