TEXAS SHEET CAKE 
2 sticks butter
4 tbsp. cocoa
1 c. water
1/2 tsp. salt
2 c. sugar
2 c. flour
2 well beaten eggs
1 tsp. baking soda
1 c. sour cream

Heat and stir butter, cocoa and water until they come to a boil. Remove from heat. Add remaining ingredients. Put on a large greased cookie sheet and bake at 375 degrees for 20 minutes. Cool and frost.

TEXAS SHEET CAKE ICING:

1 stick butter
4 tbsp. cocoa
6 tbsp. milk
1 lb. box confectioners' sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. pecans or walnuts, chopped (opt.)

Bring the first 3 ingredients to a boil, remove from heat and put in a bowl. Add remaining ingredients and mix well.
