GEORGIA POUND CAKE | |
1 c. butter 3 c. sugar 6 lg. eggs 1 c. sour cream 1/4 tsp. baking soda 1/4 tsp. salt 3 c. flour 1 tsp. vanilla Mace Cream butter and sugar and vanilla; add one egg at a time, continuing to beat. Add flour sifted with soda and salt alternating with sour cream. Beat until light. Grease and flour Bundt or tube pan. Sprinkle pan with mace. Pour in batter; sprinkle with mace. Bake at 300 degrees for 1 1/2 hours or longer until done. Cool 15 minutes and remove from pan. |
