OLD FASHIONED BREAD PUDDING 
3 tbsp. butter, melted
3/4 c. sugar
2 c. milk
3 large eggs
2 tsp. vanilla extract
3 (1-inch thick) French bread slices or regular bread that will make one-inch thickness

Tear bread into small pieces. Drizzle butter into an 8-inch square pan. Whisk together sugar and next three ingredients in a large bowl. Stir in bread; spoon mixture into pan.

Bake at 350°F for 15 minutes; stir.

Bake 35 more minutes or until pudding is set.

Makes 4 to 6 servings. I sprinkle nutmeg on mine. This is delicious.
