8 c. corn, cut off cob
1 1/2 tsp. salt
2 tbsp. sugar
1/2 c. butter (1 stick)
1/2 c. water

Combine all ingredients and bring to a boil. Cool quickly. Put into plastic bowls or jars to freeze.
