MULLED CIDER (CROCK-POT) 
1 gallon apple cider, unsweetened, unspiced
1/2 cup light-brown sugar
6 (four-inch) cinnamon sticks
2 naval oranges
12 whole allspice
24 whole cloves

Pour cider into crockpot. Stir brown sugar into cider. Add the cinnamon sticks to pot. Stud one of the oranges with the allspice and the cloves and add to pot. Slice thinly the other orange and float the slices on the cider in the pot.

Cook on high for 1.5 to 2 hours, or on low for 4 to 6 hours. Stir occasionally. Remove studded orange and cinnamon sticks before serving. Serve right from the crockpot.
