TOFFEE COOKIES 
1/3 c. melted butter
2 c. oatmeal
1/2 c. brown sugar
1/4 c. dark corn syrup
1/2 tsp. salt
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
6 oz. chocolate chips, melted
1/4 c. chopped nuts

Preheat oven to 450 degrees. Pour melted butter on rolled oats and mix well. Add syrup, salt, vanilla and mix well. Spread mixture in a greased 8" square pan. Bake in 450 degree oven for 15 minutes. Cool. Loosen edges. Spread with chocolate and sprinkle with nuts. Cut into squares and store in covered container.
