NEVER FAIL PIE CRUST (Jean's) | |
1 c. lard 1 tsp. salt 1/2 c. water (may need a little more) 1 tsp. vinegar 3 c. flour 1 beaten egg Cut in shortening, flour and salt until fine. Combine water, egg and vinegar. Sprinkle over flour mixture; mix well. Roll up. Leftover dough may be frozen or wrapped in wax paper and kept in refrigerator for a week or more. |
