SWEET AND SOUR MEAT BALLS 
SAUCE:

3/4 c. catsup
1/3 c. vinegar
3/4 c. brown sugar

MEATBALLS:

2 1/2 lbs. ground chuck
1 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
1 egg
1/2 c. bread crumbs
1/4 c. water
4 tbsp. butter

Mix ground chuck, salt, pepper, 1 egg, 1/4 cup water, bread crumbs. Form into small balls, about 75 balls. Brown in butter. Mix catsup, vinegar, brown sugar; simmer for 1/2 hour. Combine sauce and meatballs together and simmer for 1/2 hour.

Serve as appetizer with toothpicks or make larger balls and serve on rice or noodles as main course.
