Esther's Sweet and Sour Meatloaf

The meatloaf was really good but I had problems with the way the recipe was written.
1. combine all dry ingredients and add liquids. I made the sauce at this point and added half of it to the dry ingredients. Allow to rest for a few minutes or more. Then add sauteed onions and garlic along with the meat and combine thoroughly. I baked the meatloaf for about 45 minutes then poured the rest of the sauce on the meatloaf and finished baking for another 15 minutes. The meatloaf was really good. No leftovers and there are only two people in my household. I did cut the amounts in half for that reason.
