1 c. butter
1 c. vegetable oil
1 c. sugar
1 c. confectioners' sugar

1 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs, beaten together

1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cream of tartar
1 tsp. salt
4 c. flour

Mix together. Roll 1 teaspoon into a ball, roll in sugar. Place on cookie sheet and press with glass. Bake 8 to 10 minutes at 350 degrees. Makes about 8 dozen.
